Labor day weekend Mark, Alyssa and I went to
Albuquerque to visit Micheal, Laura and the girls. We had a really good time! Laura and I took the girls to the zoo on Monday while the boys went out on the 4-wheelers.
We had a picnic in the grass and checked it all out.
The
giraffe came up to the fence and people were feeding them, it was really neat to see. The zoo is always Alyssa's favorite thing to do. She loves to see all the animals.
The girls even talked me into riding the camel with them. It wasn't hard, I love to ride the camel too. I am just a big kid at heart!
It was a really fun day, and I think the girls always have a good time just being with each other!
Alyssa had her 1st Kelly Green Practice on September 9th 2008. She thought it was pretty cool 
to be a Kelly Green! She had practices on Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday evening and then Performed on Friday. She was really excited until the went out on the field, she said she was nervous (again with the nervous thing). The Kelly Green in the picture, Sam, had to carry her out onto the field, she said when she set her down Alyssa kept saying up, up. But Sam told her we have to dance now
, Sam started dancing and Alyssa followed suit. She is the little one in the pink, in the middle of the picture. She did pretty good, for her first time on a football field performing for a stadium of people!
